Saturday night 1/28 - Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise - I'll be at the original Ginkgo's in St. Paul. Sweet Rhubarb is going to open at 7pm. If you are up there already, Stacey Earle is playing a couple of days before and, my old buddy, Scott Alarik will be there a couple days after. Hope I can be the meat(or at least the cheese) in a sandwich like that 9pm.
Saturday night we did an old school show at Nothin' Less Coffee 2642 N. Milwaukee down in Logan Square in Chicago. No P.A. just lung power. Eric Manley has his great photography on the wall too. Hope to be back soon
On the radio. Played downtown at Razor and Di's new digs. They have a showcase studio that let's you watch the passer-bys. I watched the snow fall on the Viagra Triangle and yodeled for a while. They play some great tunes too. If you want to hear something new, tune in.
Friday, January 13th I'll be back at my favorite hookah bar. Rumor is that we are going to be recording this show - so come and get caffeinated and loud. 8pm
Saturday, February 14th - New Venue** Paddy's Pub in Milwaukee ,Wisconsin. Instead of just David Towle opening - we have the reunion of Two Thik Mick. Get the Guinness ready. A recording device will be at this show also. 9pm
Monday, January 16th- The Acoustic Explosion arrives at Silvie's on Irving Park. Cheap beer and good times always. John always has three or four of Chicago's top notch acoustic players on hand too. Doors 8:oo.
